Rules for each Events

   DAY 1: Saturday 04/02/2017                                          Registration: 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

   Inaugration: 10:00 a.m.

Event 1: CodeZilla (Web Designing) (Off-Stage)

Timing : 11:00 a.m. To 1:00 p.m.

Judgment Criteria:   1.Aptitude Test 2.Web Designing Skills 3.Presentation Skills

Rules:

  1. Team Size : Maximum  2

  2. Event will be conducted in 2 Rounds – Theme will be provided on the spot.

  • Round 1:Aptitude test based on HTML,CSS & JavaScript

  • Round 2: Implementation, Creation & Execution of web pages 

   3. Web Design should be based on HTML, CSS, JavaScript only,

   4. Total pages – 5.

   5. Images will be provided to the participants.

Event 2:  Indi-Genius (On-Stage)

Timing        :   11:00 a.m. To 1:00 p.m.

Judgment Criteria:  1.Presentation Skills    2.Innovative ideas    3.Implementation   4. Time limits   

5.Material used for the product

Rules:

  1. Team Size: Maximum 4

  2. Each team has to come up with only one product and ideas made out of waste & have to present the same.

  3. 40 min for preparation of product

  4. Time allotted will be 10mins. For presentation.

  5. Waste material will be provided by organizing committee.

Event 3:  EUREKA (Business Plan) (On-Stage)

Timing        :   2:00 p.m. To 4:00 p.m.

Judgment Criteria:  1.Business idea 2. Development of business plan 3. Report presentation

 4. Effective use of time   5.soft skills and Co-ordination.

Prizes: Three

Rules:

  1. One team per college (Team Size: 2).

  2. This event has only one round &  Total marks-50

  3. The candidates need to present their ideas through PowerPoint presentation.

  4. Total time allotted -15 mins (10 mins for presentation and 5 mins for questions)

  5. Innovativeness of the product/service need to be maintained.

  6. Formal dress for presentation.

Event 4:  Code-Jam (Off-Stage)

Timing  :00 p.m. To 4:00 p.m.         

Judgement Criteria:  1.Aptitude Test 2.Programming Skills  

Rules:

  1. Team Size:  Maximum 2

  2. Event will be conducted in 2 Rounds – Problem will be provided on the spot.

  3. Round 1:Aptitude test based on C,C++,Java,Dot.Net

     Round 2: Implementation & Execution of the problem through        programming skill

  4.Programming should be based on C,C++,Java,Dot.Net.

Event 5:  VIRASAT (Folk Dance/Classical) (On-Stage)

Timing     :   2:30 p.m. To 5:30 p.m.

Judgment Criteria:  1.Theme   2.Rhythm    3.Usuage of Props   4.Costumes 5. Group Coordination

Rules:

  1.  Team Size: Maximum 8.

  2. This event has only one round.

  3. Each criterion has a maximum of 10 points.

  4. Participants should bring their required prop.

  5. Time allotted: 5 -7 mins

  6. Track should be submitted at the time of registration.

Event 6: Brain-Storming (IT-Quiz) (On-Stage)

 Timing     :     9:00 a.m.  To 11:00 a.m.

Judgment Criteria: Each right answer carries 10 marks & every wrong answer -5

Rules:

  1. 1 team per college (Team Size: 2).

  2. This event has three rounds.

  3. Questions related to IT & General Knowledge based on current affairs.

  4. Round 1: In first round general knowledge questions will be asked.

  5. Round 2: It is a buzzer round: questions based on video clips

  6. Round 3: It is a rapid fire round, questions based on IT.

Event 7: AD-Genius (On-Stage)

 Timing      :     9:00 a.m.  to  11:30 a.m.

 Judgment Criteria: 1.Product should be highlighted 2.Innovative & Entertaining idea

Rules:

  1. 2 teams per college (Team Size: 5).

  2. Product /Social theme will be given by organizers before 30 mins which are used in day to day life and will not be exchanged.

  3. Participants have to make a 3 mins AD for the same.

  4. It contains 2 Rounds

  5. Round 1:  Have to prepare AD based on product.

(Select any product or Service for AD)

  1. Round 2 :  Have to prepare AD based  on Social Theme(Topic will be given)

  2. Participants will be provided 30 mins to prepare their AD

  3. Vulgarity and indiscipline will not be tolerated.

 Event 8: Pic-Spark (Off-Stage)

 Timing  : 11:00 a.m.  To 1:00 p.m.

 Judgment Criteria: 1.Natural Photography 2.Innovation

Rules:

  1. 2 participants per college.

  2. This is a theme based photography competition, only natural photographs are allowed.

  3. Consists of three round

  4. Round 1: In the first round (screening) you have to submit only one best photograph captured by you.

     Round 2: If participant is selected for the second round, he has to click             the photograph   from the campus.

      Round 3: Participants which are selected for the third round has to click              photograph on the theme given by the organizers and have to give an innovative caption to the   photograph.

 5. Downloading photos will not be allowed & other effects are not allowed.

 Event 8: Pic-Spark (Off-Stage)

 Timing  : 11:00 a.m.  To 1:00 p.m.

 Judgment Criteria: 1.Natural Photography 2.Innovation

Rules:

  1. 2 participants per college.

  2. This is a theme based photography competition, only natural photographs are allowed.

  3. Consists of three round

  4. Round 1: In the first round (screening) you have to submit only one best photograph captured by you.

     Round 2: If participant is selected for the second round, he has to click             the photograph   from the campus.

      Round 3: Participants which are selected for the third round has to click              photograph on the theme given by the organizers and have to give an innovative caption to the   photograph.

Event 9: Atrangi (Street-Play) (On-Stage)

 Timing        10:00 am  to 1:00 pm  

Judgment Criteria:  1.Social Theme 2.Time Management 3.Presentation Skills   4.Social message    conveyed.

Rules:

  1. 1 team per college (Team Size: 2-6).

  2. The team is required to present a Skit on any social concern in 15 mins.

  3. Special Make- up, costumes and speakers are not allowed.

  4.  Submit your skit script to the event coordinators.

  5. Dholes are allowed

  6. Screening round will be conducted if the number of participating teams exceeds 10.

  7. Vulgarity and indiscipline will not be tolerated.

Event 10: Treasure Hunt (On-Stage) 

Timing      : 2:00 p.m.  To 3:00 p.m.

Judgment Criteria: 1.Social Theme 2.Time Management 3.Presentation Skills   4.Social message conveyed.

  1. The game is for 1 hour.

  2. Screening will be done before the game starts, only 7 teams will play Final Treasure Hunt.

  3. There will be six levels of treasure hunt

  4.  One team per college (Team size: 4-6)

  5. Members are supposed to stay together during the game

  6.  Unfair means such as external help will lead to elimination of the concerned teams.

  7.  Participants must co-operate with the volunteers involved

  8.  Teams are NOT allowed to bring along a Mobile and/or any electronic gadget.

Event 11: STYLE –ICON (On-Stage)

 Timing    : 2:00 p.m.  To 5:00 p.m.

  Judgment Criteria: 1.Costume 2.Communication Skills 3.Presentation Skills   4.IQ

   1.   2 participants per college.

   2. Consists of three rounds.

   3. Round 1: In the first round you have to introduce yourself.

      Round 2: This round is a ramp walk round.

      Round 3: In this round general life questions will be asked.

  4.Costumes should be decent.
